Catherine (Catie) D. Cavenagh is a partner at BCM Law, P.C., specializing in the defense of workers’ compensation claims.
She began her legal career representing injured workers, where she developed an in-depth understanding of Illinois workers’ compensation law. This early experience gives her a unique perspective and strategic advantage in her current defense practice.
Before joining BCM Law, P.C., Catie practiced workers' compensation defense in the Chicago-land area, representing employers across Illinois. Her extensive background includes working with employers, insurers, and third-party administrators, providing her with a comprehensive view of the workers’ compensation landscape.
As an experienced attorney, she is known for her meticulous preparation and effective advocacy. She has litigated numerous cases before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission and Illinois Circuit Court.
