Peter J. Stavropoulos
Peter J. Stavropoulos is an experienced litigator specializing in the defense of workers’ compensation claims for employers, insurers and third party administrators. Mr. Stavropoulos has secured numerous victories on behalf of the employer and insurance carriers and has been successful in defending high exposure cases with alleged permanent total disability and significant wage loss claims. Aside from several zero awards, he has secured an award that resulted in the petitioner owing the respondent a substantial amount of money after the application of a credit to the award.
As a senior partner of the Firm, Mr. Stavropoulos is able to effectively litigate and expedite resolutions for a high volume of cases. He is committed to continuing education and has presented on numerous topics for various audiences, including presentations for the entire IWCC staff of Commissioners, Arbitrators and staff attorneys as part of the Commission’s training program.
He is also a Past President of the Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association.
Mr. Stavropoulos is active member of the Workers' Compensation Lawyers Association and the Hellenic Bar Association.
