Janna M. Miller Midura
Ms. Miller Midura has had a long career in the practice of Worker’s Compensation defense law, and has represented large insurance companies, third-party administrators, public risk funds, and employers. She spent much of her legal career in a large law firm, after working in-house in the litigation department for an insurance company. Ms. Miller Midura has had extensive experience handling all aspects of pretrial and trial work and has presented numerous oral arguments before the Commission and Illinois appellate court.
She has been involved in various legal associations where she held leadership positions, including Vice Chair and Host of the Annual Fundraising Project for the Chicago Bar Foundation. She also served as Co-Chair of the Trial Techniques Committee and the Bench Bar Relations Committee, as well as, led the Internship for Youth Project and the Habitat for Humanity Project, while serving in the Young Lawyers Section of the Chicago Bar Association. She has also served as Co-Chair of Law Week and a Director, while serving in that capacity. She is a current member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Workers’ Compensation Lawyers’ Association.
She has been active in her community, serving on two school boards, and currently serves as the Assistant Treasurer at Walter Payton College Prep in Chicago. In her spare time, she enjoys running, tennis and watching her three children play sports.
